Business Analyst - GDS Assurance Digital
Position Summary
EY’s GDS Assurance Digital team is focused on designing, building, and deploying AI‑enabled solutions that transform audit workflows, improve quality, and deliver scalable value to global engagement teams. As an AI Business Analyst, you will play a key role in translating audit business needs into AI‑driven process solutions—bridging the gap between Assurance domain experts, product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
You will contribute to design and adoption of Generative AI, automation, workflow orchestration, and intelligent data processing capabilities that improve auditor efficiency and support EY’s broader technology‑enabled assurance strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Process Analysis (AI‑Aligned)
Work closely with Assurance teams to understand business problems and identify opportunities where AI, automation, or workflow redesign can add value.
Map current‑state audit processes and design AI‑enabled future‑state workflows.
Translate audit and regulatory requirements into functional specifications for AI products, automation tools, and digital accelerators.
Perform feasibility assessments of AI use cases, considering data availability, constraints, and intended outcomes.
2. AI Product & Requirement Definition
Collaborate with product owners and SMEs to define product vision, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows for AI‑powered tools.
Translate business needs into transparent system requirements for engineering teams, including prompts, model behaviors, data inputs, and validation rules.
