Citi is looking for a Senior Client Executive to act as a trusted strategic advisor to institutional clients — driving capital markets activity, guiding M&A; and financial transaction strategy, and delivering the full breadth of Citi's capabilities to some of the world's most sophisticated organizations. This is a senior-level role within Citi's Institutional Banking team, sitting at the intersection of client strategy, capital raising, and trading intermediation. In this position, you will shape client outcomes by formulating investment strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring a consistently high standard of service and governance.
Responsibilities
Advise institutional clients on capital markets strategy, including fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and other significant financial transactions, serving as their primary point of contact at Citi.
Build and deepen client relationships by developing a thorough understanding of each client's business, identifying opportunities to deliver tailored Citi solutions and expand the partnership.
Act as an intermediary in client trading activity, coordinating closely with internal trading and institutional banking teams to execute transactions effectively.
Lead regular service reviews with clients, coordinating internal resources to resolve issues, implement improvement plans, and maintain face-to-face engagement.
Oversee client participation in external satisfaction surveys, translate feedback into actionable service improvements, and drive quality outcomes at the client level.
Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Finance teams to uphold robust governance standards and ensure all client activity meets regulatory and policy requirements.
Assess the risk and reward profile of client transactions, applying sound judgment to protect Citi's reputation while delivering commercially sound outcomes.
