Purpose: Sandvik Machining is looking for a business minded, experienced and socially confident Legal Counsel to strengthen our global Legal Support team with focus on India and Southeast Asia & Oceania region (SEAO).

Legal Support is responsible for enabling the business to take informed and balanced decisions across all legal disciplines worldwide, by providing qualitative legal advice and proactively assessing and mitigating key risks of our business. Your primary focus and responsibility would be India and Southeast Asia & Oceania region (SEAO). This requires accuracy, solid integrity and solid business understanding, as well as proficiency across many legal and compliance disciplines. Besides providing legal advice in relation to drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, an important part of your job is to ensure that we stay compliant with legal and regulatory requirements and applicable laws. This includes implementation of relevant policies and procedures, as well as management of legal training and legal risk management of agreements.
