Senior SCADA Engineer – Ignition Platform
Location: Bangalore, Mumbai, PuneExperience: 6–9 years (including 4+ years in Ignition SCADA)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SCADA Engineer with deep expertise in the Ignition platform to lead architecture, development, and platform engineering initiatives. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can drive scalable SCADA solutions, mentor teams, and ensure robust, production-grade implementations across industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and development of SCADA solutions using the Ignition platform.
Build and optimize applications using Ignition modules (Vision, Perspective) with focus on scalability, performance, and security.
Define and implement robust gateway architectures, tag structures, UDTs, and scripting standards.




Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs and industrial systems using OPC UA, MQTT/Sparkplug B, Kepware, and standard protocols.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams.
Design and implement backend and full-stack solutions using Python/Java and API integrations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

6–9 years of total experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on work in Ignition SCADA.
Deep expertise in Ignition (Vision, Perspective, gateway architecture, scripting, security, performance tuning).
Solid industrial automation knowledge including PLC concepts, ISA 88/95 standards, OPC UA, MQTT, and Kepware.
Full-stack development experience with Python/Java and API-driven architectures.
