Senior – International Tax
Service Line: International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Senior – International tax to join our International tax and Transaction Tax Services (ITTS) practice. The role will focus on supporting US-based clients, particularly in the financial services and investment funds sector, on complex international tax matters, cross-border transactions, fund structuring and tax-productive operating models.
The ideal candidate will possess practical knowledge of international tax, US tax concepts and cross-border advisory matters (including PFIC, CFC, GILTI, ECI, WHT, PE, TP and accounting for income tax matters).
The role requires a strong research, analytical, communication and execution skills with the ability to prepare high-quality client deliverables and work effectively with EY network offices and client stakeholders.
Qualifications and experience
Professional qualification such as CA/ CPA/ CFA or equivalent preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
3+ years of relevant experience in international tax / M&A; / Transaction tax / Cross border tax advisory in a client facing role.
Prior experience with a leading professional services firm preferred.
Good understanding of international taxation, including cross-border structuring, treaty analysis, withholding tax, permanent establishment matters.
Exposure to financial services sector will be an advantage.
Knowledge of US tax concepts, including PFIC, CFC, GILTI and ECI, will be highly valued.
