Position: Lab In-Charge (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) Department: Science Department Reporting To: Principal / Academic Coordinator

Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Physics, Chemistry, and Biology laboratories. Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, specimens, and materials for practical sessions. Assist teachers and students during laboratory experiments and activities. Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals and laboratory materials. Maintain laboratory inventory and keep records of equipment, consumables, and chemicals. Conduct regular checks and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment. Follow and enforce laboratory safety procedures and guidelines. Keep laboratories clean, organized, and ready for practical classes. Maintain stock registers, issue registers, and laboratory documentation. Coordinate procurement of laboratory materials and raise purchase requirements when needed. Support science exhibitions, projects,



and practical examinations. Ensure compliance with school policies and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related Science field. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in laboratory management (preferred). Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and equipment handling. Basic computer skills for maintaining records and inventories. Skills Required: Organizational and inventory management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to handle laboratory equipment and chemicals safely. Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
