Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, and process flows.
- Analyze existing Gold Loan processes and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with Product, Technology, Operations, QA, and Business teams.
- Support UAT, defect management, and production rollout.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party integration partners.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
Required Domain Knowledge
- End-to-end Gold Loan lifecycle:
- Customer onboarding (KYC)
- Gold appraisal and valuation
- Loan origination
- LTV calculations
- Interest and repayment management
- Renewals, part payments, and closures
- Auction and recovery process
- RBI guidelines applicable to Gold Loans
- LOS/LMS and digital lending platforms
- Branch operations and workflow
Required Skills:
- Robust requirement gathering and stakeholder management
- BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases
- Process mapping (Visio, BPMN, Draw.io)
- SQL for data validation (preferred)
- UAT planning and execution
- Agile/Scrum methodology
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA / B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent
- Experience with NBFC or Banking Gold Loan products
Preferred Experience
Experience working with leading Gold Loan institutions such as:
- Muthoot Finance
- Manappuram Finance
- IIFL Finance
- HDFC Bank
- ICICI Bank
- Federal Bank
- Other NBFCs or banks offering Gold Loan products.
Success Criteria
- Ability to independently drive requirement gathering and documentation.
- Strong understanding of Gold Loan business processes.
- Ability to work effectively with business users, technology teams, and external vendors.
