Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day logistics and freight brokerage operations.
- Supervise dispatchers, freight brokers, and customer support staff.
- Build and maintain relationships with shippers, carriers, and owner-operators.
- Monitor load boards such as DAT and Truckstop.
- Negotiate freight rates with customers and carriers.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight.
- Resolve operational issues, delays, and service failures.
- Monitor driver compliance and service performance.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Track KPIs and prepare operational reports.
- Improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Coordinate with sales and business development teams.
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and industry standards.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in US freight brokerage or logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of truck dispatching and freight management.
- Experience with load boards (DAT, Truckstop, Sylectus, etc.).
- Knowledge of MC Authority, FMCSA regulations, carrier packets,



and insurance verification.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Proficiency with TMS software, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM systems.
- Ability to work in US time zones.

Preferred Skills
- Experience using AscendTMS, McLeod, Rose Rocket, or similar TMS.
- Knowledge of dry van, reefer, flatbed, power-only, and hotshot freight.
- Sales and customer relationship management experience.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
