Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Freshers with excellent design aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings with proper GD&T; in accordance with ASME Y14.5 / ISO standards.
- Design and modify mechanical components, assemblies, and fabricated parts.
- Select and incorporate standard machine elements such as:
- Bearings
- Oil Seals
- O-Rings
- Shafts
- Keys & Keyways
- Couplings
- Fasteners
- Gears & Pulleys
- Bushes & Linear Guides
- Understand engineering fits and tolerances, surface finish, and manufacturing processes.
- Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams during prototype and production stages.
- Support engineering changes,



product improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Ensure designs comply with customer requirements and company standards.

Required Technical SkillsMust Have
- Robust proficiency in SolidWorks (Parts, Assemblies & Drawings).
- Good understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Knowledge of:
- Bearings and bearing selection
- Oil seals and sealing arrangements
- Mechanical power transmission components
- Standard machine elements
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, fabrication, and assembly.

Preferred
- Exposure to AutoCAD.
- Basic understanding of FEA/Simulation in SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with PDM systems.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, or automation systems is an added advantage.
