Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing construction materials, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining purchase documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Procure construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, plumbing, electrical and other site requirements.
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate commercial terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, stores and accounts teams.
- Monitor material quality, quantity, rates and delivery schedules.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details, quotations and invoices.




- Follow up with suppliers regarding pending orders and payments.
- Ensure procurement is within approved budgets and project requirements.
- Visit suppliers/markets when required for material sourcing and price comparison.

Requirements

- 2–8 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably with a construction company.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and local suppliers.
- Valuable negotiation and vendor-management skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with construction sites and multiple vendors.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Candidates from construction companies only will be preferred.

Salary

2.00 LPA to 3.00 LPA, depending on experience, skills and current CTC.
