Job Summary
The position is based in Hyderabad, India and is responsible for supporting legal research, drafting, review, and legal and compliance administrative work across divisions within TriNet's Legal and Compliance (LC) department. The role may be deployed to support a variety of legal and compliance matters, with responsibilities varying based on department priorities and business needs. The position reports to a LC leader in India with a dotted line to the Chief of Staff to the Chief Legal Officer within the Office of the CLO division of TriNet's LC department.
Responsibilities
- Supports legal research, drafting, review, and legal and compliance administrative and operational work across divisions within TriNet's LC department, including the Compliance Office, Commercial, Government Relations, Employment, Advantages, and Compensation, Product, Data, AI Governance, and Technology, the Office of the CLO, and Corporate
- Provides matter support for attorneys, compliance professionals, and other Legal and Compliance stakeholders, including coordinating information requests, document organization, and follow-up items
- Leverages AI and applicable tools to research and compile data from legal and compliance sources, including statutes, regulations, agency guidance, legal articles, practice manuals, and other reference materials, and provides summaries to counsel or department leadership
- Prepares, reviews, proofs, edits, and organizes legal documents, correspondence, templates, memoranda, policies, procedures, and other department materials
- Reviews and supports work related to the company s compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures, as assigned
- Maintains knowledge of industry developments and changes to applicable laws and regulations, as requested
- Supports or leads certain legal and compliance-related programs and projects that have internal or external impact
- Serves as the primary business owner for select LC tools, whether developed internally or provided by third-party vendors
- Monitors certain client-facing queues and supports client-impacting work, as assigned
- Proactively identifies opportunities for process or system improvement and works closely with the Chief of Staff and Office of the CLO to support implementation
Education Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- Typically 4+ years
Skills and Abilities
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and matters comprehensively and with great attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Licenses and Certifications
- Paralegal certificate or degree from accredited college or university is preferred
