Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore & Indore

Experience: 6+years

Work Hours: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST (Hybrid)

Position Type: Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Identifies test cases and creates or updates test case documents with assistance from core engineering team.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Executes test cases, identify bugs,



evaluate bugs with appropriate priority and severity, and report bugs.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Identifies the gap between the function specifications and implementation.
- Understands the functionality of the entire product and takes ownership of the hot fixes allocated to him/her for testing.
- Provides recommendations for enhancing product features.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Load testing using the open-source tools.
- Experience in the UI/Functional automation Selenium.
- API automation using Rest Assured.

Required Skills:

- Experience in developing automation framework from scratch.
- Experience in Load testing
- Minimum of 3-5 + years' experience in testing web-based products/projects.
- Ability to work in a team and challenging environment.
- Knowledge of different types of testing and testing strategies.
- Understands the SDLC, Agile/SCRUM concepts and software release cycle.
- Knowledge of stress and performance testing desirable.
- Knowledge of automation tool is desirable.
- Knowledge on TFS/Jira.
- Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
- Excellent Team Player skills.
