Role & responsibilities

- Own end-to-end mechanical design of SPM and automation systems from initial concept to final prototype and manufacturing.
- Create 3D models, sub-assemblies, and precise 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
- Perform engineering calculations for structural integrity, machine kinematics, and component selection.
- Select standard off-the-shelf parts including pneumatics, actuators, drives, bearings, and motors.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) standards.
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation for assembly.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 6 years
- Software: Hands-on proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Solid Edge.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of mechanism design, sheet metal design, weldments, and factory automation
