Job Purpose
The Senior Java/C++ Software Developer will develop and support applications, systems, and framework infrastructure supporting ICEs electronic trading platforms one of the worlds leading commodities and futures exchanges.

Responsibilities

- As part of broader US-based Development and Support teams, this individual will participate in the design and development of client-facing API integration components (Order Routing, Trade Capture, etc. ) across ICE trading platforms, as well as other software applications
- Collaborate with global teams on architecture, code review, and cross-functional delivery
- Provide Tier 2/3 production and UAT technical support during business hours as well as on-call for production setting client-impacting issues that may arise

Knowledge and Experience

- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of professional software development experience in Java and/or C++
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and tooling
- Experience with network programming,



low-latency systems, or ficial messaging protocols (FIX, binary)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

- Experience with multi-threaded, multi-core server-side development
- Experience with mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical documentation and standards
- Experience building or integrating LLM-based tools, agents, or automation workflows
- Familiarity with exchange microstructure, order routing, or market data distribution
- Prior work at a ficial exchange, trading firm, or fintech infrastructure company
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and production support workflows
