Job Description BIM Engineer (Scan to BIM)

Role Overview

We are looking for a BIM Engineer (Scan to BIM) with 3–6 years of experience in Scan-to-BIM projects. The candidate should have experience in creating BIM models from point cloud data and delivering quality work within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop BIM models using point cloud data.
- Convert point cloud data into accurate 3D Revit Models.
- Work on Architectural, Structural, and MEP models.
- Set up project coordinates, grids, and levels.
- Perform quality checks and ensure project standards are followed.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members for project execution.
- Deliver projects on time with good quality.
- Support client requirements and resolve technical queries when needed.

Required Skills

- Experience in Scan-to-BIM projects.
- Valuable knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD.




- Experience with Autodesk ReCap and Navisworks.
- Basic knowledge of BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is preferred.
- Understanding of Architectural, Structural, and MEP modeling.
- Knowledge of LOD standards and BIM workflows.
- Experience in CAD-to-BIM conversion is an added advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Candidate Profile

- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Scan-to-BIM.
- Experience working on international projects (US, UK, EU, or Middle East) is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.
