Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Asset Management (SAM) / IT Asset Management (ITAM) qualified with strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow SAM Pro, software licensing, compliance, governance, and optimization within large enterprise environments.

Key Skills & Requirements

- Strong experience in end-to-end Software Asset Management (SAM) operations
- Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow SAM Pro
- Experience in software normalization, reconciliation, entitlements & compliance reporting
- Strong understanding of Software Governance, audit readiness & risk mitigation
- Knowledge of Publisher Tiering Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Tier 3
- Hands-on license management experience with 2–3 Tier 1 publishers
- Experience with publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe or SAP
- Strong understanding of license metrics: User, Device, Processor, Core, Subscription, Named User & Concurrent




- Experience in license optimization, reclamation, shelfware reduction & cost control
- Strong analytical, documentation and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

- Manage the complete Software Asset Lifecycle from request and procurement alignment through deployment, optimization and retirement
- Configure and operate ServiceNow SAM Pro
- Perform software normalization and reconcile consumption vs. entitlements
- Generate compliance positions and support true-ups, renewals and audits
- Manage software licenses for Tier 1 publishers and ensure accurate compliance calculations
- Identify opportunities for license optimization and contract rationalization
- Support internal/external audits and prepare required evidence and reports
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Security, Legal and IT Operations
- Develop SAM dashboards, compliance reports and KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement in SAM processes, data quality and automation

- Windows Server Administration
- Azure Administration
- Experience supporting Splunk Installation projects
