Position: Cashier

Location: Tanishq, Hinoo, Ranchi

Job SummaryWe are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier to manage billing, cash handling, payment processing, and daily financial transactions at our Tanishq store. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, accuracy, integrity, and good customer-handling abilities.

- Key ResponsibilitiesHandle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Generate customer invoices and ensure correct billing of jewellery purchases.
- Verify billing details, discounts, offers, payment modes, and customer information.
- Maintain accurate records of daily cash and payment collections.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager/Accounts team.
- Coordinate with the sales team and accounts team for smooth billing and settlement.
- Handle refunds, cancellations, exchanges, and other billing-related transactions as per company policy.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices and transaction records.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of cash and financial information.
- Follow all company policies, SOPs, audit requirements, and compliance procedures.




- Provide professional and courteous service to customers during the billing process.
- QualificationGraduate in any discipline preferred.
- Candidates with a background in Commerce/Accounts will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and billing software.
- Previous experience in retail, jewellery, banking, or cash-handling roles will be an advantage.

Experience1–3 years of relevant experience preferred. Freshers with strong numerical and communication skills may also be considered.
