Airline Ticketing Executive

Experience: 3–5+ years

Requirements:

GDS experience: Amadeus, Galileo/Travelport, or Sabre

Experience in domestic and international flight bookings

Ticket issuance, reissue, cancellation and modification

Handling refunds and fare rules

PNR creation and management

Good knowledge of IATA fares and airline policies

Solid knowledge of international sectors and routing

Good customer handling and communication skills

Experience in sales and upselling

Ability to handle urgent booking changes and customer queries

Knowledge of airline schedules, baggage rules, penalties and ticket conditions

Key Responsibilities:

Handle domestic and international flight bookings through GDS systems.

Create, modify and manage PNRs accurately.

Issue,



reissue and cancel airline tickets according to fare rules.

Process refunds and provide customers with accurate refund information.

Check fare availability, rules, baggage allowance, penalties and restrictions.

Handle complex international itineraries and multi-sector bookings.

Communicate with airlines/GDS support when required.

Assist customers with flight changes, cancellations and travel-related queries.

Achieve sales targets and identify opportunities for up-selling.

Maintain accurate booking and customer records.

Ensure all bookings comply with airline policies and applicable IATA/GDS procedures.
