The Restaurant Captain plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the restaurant team. This role requires strong communication skills, prior knowledge of order-taking software, and the ability to manage both front-of-house and closing/opening duties.

Key Responsibilities

- Guest Service & Order Management
- Greet guests warmly and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Take customer orders accurately using online order-taking software.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Operational Duties
- Supervise and assist in serving orders to guests.
- Support in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the restaurant.
- Actively participate in restaurant opening and closing procedures, including setup, stock checks, and end-of-day reporting.




- Guide and assist junior staff in service standards and operational tasks.
- Ensure smooth coordination between service and kitchen teams.
- Step in to help with cleaning and organizing when required.

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
- Familiarity with online order-taking software and POS systems.
- Robust interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to contribute to both service and cleaning duties.

Working Conditions

- Fixed 10-hour shift per day.
- 4 weekly offs per month, not scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays.
- Active role requiring standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
