Social Media & Content Manager

Brands: India Authors Academy (IAA) & Lumina Books

Role: Full-time

Hybrid working (Few days work from office in a month)

We are looking for a creative and hands-on Social Media & Content Manager to manage the end-to-end social media presence of IAA and Lumina Books.

- Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the social media calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.
- Generate fresh content ideas aligned with brand objectives, trends and audience interests.
- Convert ideas, podcasts, webinars, events, testimonials and raw inputs into engaging social content.
- Create high-quality posts, carousels, stories, Reels and Shorts.
- Design creatives using Canva and other creative/AI tools.
- Edit professional-quality videos on both laptop and mobile — including captions, B-roll, transitions, effects, music, graphics and strong pacing. Basic cut-and-join editing is not sufficient.
- Write strong hooks, captions, scripts and CTAs.
- Publish/schedule content and ensure consistency across platforms.
- Engage actively with comments, DMs and the community.
- Identify organic enquiries and nurture/convert potential leads where required.
- Track reach, engagement, follower growth,



leads and content performance, and continuously improve the strategy.
- Use ChatGPT and other AI tools effectively for ideation, research, content creation and productivity.

What We're Looking ForStrong creativity and content sense.

- Excellent Canva/design skills and a good visual aesthetic.
- Solid short-form video editing skills.
- Good copywriting and storytelling ability.
- Understanding of social media trends, hooks and audience retention.
- Proactive and able to independently take content from idea → creation → publishing → engagement.
- Good written and spoken English; Hindi/Hinglish is an advantage.
- Prior experience managing social media for a brand, creator or business preferred.
