Job Description: About the Role

We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented Rebar Detailers to join our team in Salem. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in preparing reinforcement/rebar detailing drawings for projects executed for clients in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Australia.

The candidate will be responsible for producing accurate, constructible, and standards-compliant rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules while coordinating with the project and checking teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed rebar shop drawings, reinforcement drawings, and bar bending schedules based on structural and architectural drawings.

- Interpret structural drawings, specifications, design documents, and project requirements.

- Detail reinforcement accurately with appropriate bar sizes, spacing, laps, anchorage, couplers, bends, shapes, and other reinforcement requirements.

- Ensure drawings comply with the applicable UAE, Saudi, and Australian standards and project specifications.

- Review drawings for constructability, completeness, and coordination with structural elements.

- Identify discrepancies, missing information, and potential clashes in design/detailing and raise RFIs or technical queries when required.

- Coordinate with checkers, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve detailing issues.

- Incorporate comments and revisions accurately within project timelines.

- Prepare and maintain accurate bar bending schedules and related documentation.

- Follow company QA/QC procedures and project-specific drafting standards.

- Deliver drawings within agreed project schedules and quality requirements.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

- 2 8 years of relevant experience in rebar detailing.

- Strong hands-on experience working on UAE, Saudi Arabian, and Australian projects/clients.





- Good practical knowledge of the relevant rebar detailing standards, codes, and project specificationsapplicable to these regions.

- Experience in preparing reinforcement shop drawings and bar bending schedules.

- Strong ability to read and interpret structural drawings.

- Proficiency in relevant rebar detailing/drafting software such as AutoCAD, RebarCAD, CADS RC, Revit, Tekla, etc.

- Good understanding of reinforcement detailing practices and construction requirements.

- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with team members.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy and quality.

- Ability to work under project deadlines and manage multiple drawing deliverables.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with high-rise, commercial, residential, industrial, infrastructure, or other complex construction projects.

- Knowledge of project-specific detailing standards and client requirements.

- Experience working with international engineering/construction clients.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

Education

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Key Selection Criteria

Candidates with proven hands-on rebar detailing experience on UAE, Saudi, and Australian projects will be given priority. Candidates with only theoretical knowledge of these standards, without relevant project experience, may not be considered.
