Service Manager (Pharma Machinery)

Location: Mumbai
Experience: 8–12 Years
Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead after-sales service operations for pharmaceutical machinery. The role involves managing installations, maintenance, technical support, customer relationships, and service revenue generation through AMCs, spare parts, and machine upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead field service engineers for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown support.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and support IQ/OQ/PQ documentation.
- Handle complex technical escalations related to mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Drive AMC, spare parts, and retrofit sales.




- Conduct training for service engineers and customer operators.
- Monitor service KPIs such as MTTR, First-Time Fix Rate, and Customer Satisfaction.

Desired Profile

- 8–12 years of experience in industrial machinery servicing, with at least 3 years in pharmaceutical machinery.
- Robust knowledge of PLC automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision mechanics.
- Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, cGMP, and validation protocols.
- Excellent leadership, customer handling, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Industry Preference: Pharmaceutical Machinery, Packaging Machinery, Process Equipment, Tablet Compression, Granulation, Liquid Filling, or Blister Packing Machinery.
