About The Firm & Requirement

Company is a high-growth clean energy company operating across Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Company is setting up a 2.5 GWh BESS Assembly Plant in Gujarat, covering the complete manufacturing chain from cell to module, module to pack, and
pack to container. To support this expansion, it seeks a Senior Engineer – QC Electrical to conduct electrical quality inspections and tests on incoming components, in-process assemblies, and finished BESS products, ensuring every unit meets design, safety, and customer requirements
before it leaves the line.

Educational Qualification & Criteria

B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering. Relevant certification in quality (e.g. ISO awareness) preferred.

Experience 4–7 years in electrical quality control in a manufacturing environment, ideally battery / BESS, UPS, inverter, power electronics, or EV battery pack manufacturing.

Professional & Personal Abilities

Hands-on with electrical test equipment – multimeters, LCR meters, oscilloscopes, insulation resistance testers, hipot testers.

Working knowledge of battery systems, BMS architecture, and power electronics; familiarity with IEC electrical safety standards.




Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort reading electrical schematics / AutoCAD drawings for inspection reference.

Key Job Responsibilities

Perform incoming inspection of electrical components – cells, BMS, PCS, cables, contactors, sensors, and PCBs.
Execute in-process electrical QC checks at defined control-plan stages on the assembly line and conduct final electrical testing/verification of BESS units as per ATP.
Identify, document and disposition non-conforming electrical components/assemblies; maintain calibration records for all test equipment.
Support root-cause analysis for electrical quality failures and implementation of corrective actions.
Coordinate with suppliers and the SQD team on component quality issues, and support FAT activities with customers and third-party inspectors.

Soft Skills / Software’s Needed

Inspection checklists, non-conformance report (NCR) / CAPA documentation tools, MS Excel/Word; good verbal and written communication for supplier and cross-functional coordination.

Please note those who do not have hands-on electrical testing experience in a battery, power electronics, or similar manufacturing setting – such profiles shall not be taken forward
