Overview

Atkinsrealis is seeking a motivated Landscape Irrigation Design Engineer to support the design and development of irrigation/ wet utility team. To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Your role

n

n
- 2-4 years of experience in the Landscape Irrigation.
n
- Experience of working in the Irrigation / water Industry.
n
- Positive Attitude and eagerness to learn and use new irrigation/ water related design software's, tools and processes for automation and digital efficiency as per the project and business requirement.
n
- Familiarity with Middle East / BS or similar international Codes of Practice
n
- Hands on experience of various software's – Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks and WaterGEMS
n
- Positive ability to use Irrigation / water related design software's, tools and processes for automation and digital efficiency.
n
- Good understanding of various design standards and its application in the Landscape and Irrigation industry.
n
- Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Engineering from an institute of repute.
n
- Clear knowledge of work procedures, and ability to brief project team on them.
n
- Good written and verbal English language communication skills.
n




- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, seniors, team members and clients.
n
- Experience of major Infrastructure projects at feasibility and detailed design stages.
n
- A team player and work in collaboration.
n

About you

n

- Perform flow calculations and water demand analysis for landscape irrigation systems.
n
- Assist in preparing design reports and technical documentation.
n
- Assist and develop irrigation specifications based on project requirements and standards.
n
- Prepare and maintain valve schedules.
n
- Support the creation and validation of hydraulic models for irrigation networks.
n
- Plan and design irrigation network routing, including pipelines, valves, and control systems.
n
- Coordinate with BIM team for design integration.
n
- Ensure designs comply with local regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.
n
- Develop Concept, Preliminary, Detailed design, related calculations and drawings.
n
- Involve in clash analysis, resolution and work on federated 3Dmodels
n
- Able to perform good self-checks. And support in team development, skill enhancement.
n
- Apply Atkins Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) standards and Business Management System (BMS).
