Key Responsibilities

- Operations Management: Direct daily lab activities, workflow processes, and resource distribution.

n

- Financial & Budgeting: Build annual budgets, monitor expenses, and manage procurement of reagents and equipment.

n

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, national, and international safety and quality standards (e.g., ISO 17025 standards, recognition from the MoEFCC or the CPCB).

n

- Staff Leadership: Handle recruitment, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and mentorship of technical and support teams.

n

- Systems & Technology: Manage Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and validate new technical instrumentation.

n

Qualifications & Skills:

n

- Education: Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline like chemistry, laboratory instrumentation, or Lab Administration.

n

- Experience: 10+ years of supervisory or administrative experience for a PAN India commercial laboratory network focused on waste analysis/characterization and environmental monitoring & testing services.

n

- Core Competencies: Robust financial acumen, regulatory knowledge, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in LIMS software.
