Admission Counsellor
(Universal Wisdom School – IB & Cambridge)
Role Summary
The Admission Counsellor plays a key role in shaping the first impression of Universal Wisdom School for prospective families. This role involves engaging with parents, guiding them through the IB and Cambridge pathways, and ensuring a seamless, high-quality admissions experience from inquiry to enrolment.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (Education/Management preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience in school admissions, counselling, or parent-facing roles
Freshers with strong communication skills and a learning mindset may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective parents via calls, emails, and campus visits
Guide and counsel parents on IB & Cambridge curricula, school philosophy, and student pathways , while managing the end-to-end admissions journey from inquiry to enrolment conversion .
Conduct and coordinate campus tours,
open houses, and personalised interactions
Maintain accurate records of inquiries, applications, and follow-ups in CRM systems
Collaborate closely with marketing and academic teams for campaigns and parent engagement initiatives
Ensure timely and consistent follow-ups with prospective families
Verify application documents and ensure adherence to admission guidelines
Prepare admissions reports, funnel tracking, and conversion insights
Required Skills:
Robust communication and parent-handling skills
Ability to explain academic frameworks (IB/Cambridge) in a simple, relatable way
High level of empathy, patience, and listening ability
Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
