Job Description Job Position: Assistant Engineer n Job Function: New Product Development n Location: Shirwal n Job Objective: As an Assistant Design Engineer in the New Product Development (NPD) team the primary objective is to contribute to early-stage mechanical concept development and prototype validation for future pharmaceutical packaging systems, ensuring feasibility, reliability, and manufacturability through disciplined engineering analysis and hands-on execution. n Responsibilities n n Study existing machine designs, past trial data, and competitive solutions to identify improvement opportunities. n Develop concepts ,3D models and prototype layouts using approved CAD platforms and contemporary design tools. n Utilize available digital tools (simulation, motion analysis, AI-assisted design tools) to validate design feasibility. n Apply basic tolerance analysis, engineering calculations, and material selection judgment to ensure manufacturable and reliable designs. n Prepare and release accurate prototype drawings and BOM under defined engineering controls. n Support fabrication and assembly of prototypes, ensuring alignment between digital design and physical build.



n Participate in prototype trials and performance validation; collect and analyze data for improvement. n Assist in identifying root causes of mechanical issues and suggest material or design adjustments. n Document trial results, simulation findings, and design revisions in a structured and traceable format. n n n Act as technical contributor for assigned modules and collaborate with automation, controls, and digital teams during development activities. n n Key Result Areas: n n Literature Review & Idea Generation (Benchmarking, design analysis) n Project Execution (Task ownership, prototype support, timely delivery) n Design Preparation (3D modelling, layout accuracy, drawing readiness) n Design Delivery (On-time release, BOM accuracy, compliance) n Coordination & Reporting (Cross-functional coordination, trial reporting) n Record Maintenance (Revision control, documentation accuracy) n Technical Support (Engineering inputs, problem-solving support) n Technical Partners Interaction (Technical assistance, professional communication) n n Qualifications n n B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering n Experience: 3 to 4 years overall design related experience n Industry: Pharma machine manufacturing, packaging, SPM, etc n
