WE’RE HIRING | FASHION DESIGNER – KALISTAKALISTA is looking for a creative and experienced Fashion Designer with a strong expertise in embroidery design & development to join our design team in Noida.We’re looking for someone with a refined design sensibility and a strong understanding of Indian occasion wear, contemporary silhouettes, embroidery techniques, surface ornamentation and prints.A key part of this role will be conceptualising and developing original embroidery stories for our collections — from initial inspiration and motifs to placements, colour combinations, techniques and final execution.Key Responsibilities:Conceptualise and develop new collections from moodboard to final garmentCreate and develop original embroidery concepts, motifs, layouts and placement designsBuild detailed embroidery moodboards and stories for each collectionExperiment with hand embroidery, threadwork, beadwork, sequins, appliqué and mixed surface techniquesDevelop embroidery placements specifically for Lehengas, Blouses, Sarees, Anarkalis, Jackets, Dresses and Indo-Western silhouettesCreate innovative combinations of embroidery, prints, textures and surface embellishmentsWork closely with karigars and embroidery vendors to translate concepts into high-quality samplesSelect and develop appropriate threads, beads, sequins,



stones and other embroidery materialsCreate embroidery swatches and sampling trials before finalising designsDevelop contemporary silhouettes while maintaining the KALISTA design languageResearch Indian craftsmanship as well as international runway trends, embroidery techniques and surface developmentsPrepare sketches, technical references and specifications for samplingWork closely with pattern masters, sampling and production teamsConduct fittings and make design corrections through the sampling processWhat We’re Looking For:Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design3–5+ years of relevant experience in Indian occasion wear / designer wearStrong hands-on experience in embroidery design and development is essentialExcellent understanding of embroidery techniques, placements, motifs, materials and colour combinationsStrong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, silhouettes and printsProficiency in Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator; Procreate is an advantageAbility to translate inspiration into commercial yet distinctive designsAbility to independently take a design from concept → embroidery development → sampling → finished garmentLocation: NoidaPosition: Full time | On-siteIf you have a passion for creating distinctive embroideries, beautiful surfaces and contemporary Indian fashion, we’d love to see your work.Please send your CV along with your portfolio — to [email protected]
