HITACHI RAIL is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Project Controller who thrivesin a fast-paced workplace. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a widerange of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Bangalore, India.

Accountabilities:Project level responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:In conjunction with Project Team, develop the Work Breakdown Structure andBudgets for the projectWork with Work Package Leaders (WPL) to develop accurate cost to completeestimates and percent complete evaluationsTrack, monitor and report planned budgets/forecast vs. actual spend using projectcontrolling tools (SAP, PCS and other tools). Provide variance explanations andpossible recovery plan actionsWork with Project Planner to review latest schedule and quarterly report the EarnedValueMonthly reporting of project resultsAssist with the preparation, processing and tracking of contract Change OrdersWork with the project manager to assist with the preparation and tracking ofpotential claims for additional workTrack internal and external invoicing and reconciliation of cash receipts andretention.Understand and report on the cash flow position of the projectWork with global controllers for Intracompany projectsTrack subcontractor invoicing,



payments and reconciliationsReview and approve Purchase Order Requisitions in alignment with budget andtrack P.O.s in PCS.Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget and reporting of the key performanceindicators for the projectMonitor the financial “health” of the project and raise the “red flag” when a negativeimpact or condition arises.Calculate EVA at global level in accordance with group controlling modeResolve of queries from global reporting on actual, variance to budget, workload,risk , opportunities etcSupport functional Manager on project progress, key numbers and otherassignments like arbitration, claims etc.Support local ADMN in filling of Lower tax and other fillings as per statuteAddress queries both from Statutory, Internal and Global auditor. Resolve openpoints with auditor pertains to project progress, delay, un-billed revenue, costoverrun, EOT etc.

Required Skills/ Knowledge:10-15 Years of experienceKnowledge of statutory (SAP) and management (reporting) ToolsKnowledge in Project cost control, Project ManagementExpertise of Accounting & finance, Tax, requirementsKnowledge of legal requirements (Contract clauses , Bond text; L/C …)Languages: English and Other Indian Language.

Education/Qualifications:CMA/CA/MBA with 8-10 years of experience in handling Trunkey Project;Degrees in accounting or equivalent with experience of 10-15 years in handlingTrunkey Project.
