Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up to ensure on-time delivery.

Analyze purchase requisitions and review specifications for accuracy and completeness.

Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams for material requirements and specifications.

Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock levels without overstocking.

Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and manage vendor performance.

-
Conduct market research and stay updated with industry trends and pricing.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Support new product development (NPD)



teams by sourcing suitable components and materials.

Generate procurement reports and analyze key metrics for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in a procurement/purchasing role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

-
Solid negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.

Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and vendor development.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
