A counseller/psychologist in a de-addiction centre helps patients overcome substance use by identifying root causes, building coping skills, and preventing relapse through individual, group, and family therapy.
Core Responsibilities
Assessment: Evaluate mental health history, triggers, and severity of addiction.
Therapy Delivery: Use methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
Group & Family Work: Run peer support groups and educate families to aid recovery.
Relapse Prevention: Create long-term strategies to manage cravings and handle high-risk situations
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
