Role & responsibilities :
Lead end-to-end highway design projects including feasibility, preliminary, and detailed engineering
Oversee geometric design of highways, expressways, interchanges, and urban roads
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and guidelines (e.g., IRC, MoRTH, AASHTO where applicable)
Manage and review design outputs such as alignment plans, profiles, cross-sections, and reports
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structures, drainage, traffic, geotechnical, utilities)
Interface with clients, authorities, and stakeholders for design approvals and reviews
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation
Lead value engineering initiatives and optimize design solutions
Review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documentation




Ensure quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) in all design deliverables
Mentor and guide junior engineers and design teams
Support business development, proposals, and technical bids

Preferred candidate profile
Experience in EPC and/or consultancy settings
Exposure to national highway projects, PPP projects, or international standards
Knowledge of BIM and digital engineering practices
Chartered Engineer or equivalent skilled certification
Experience with projects funded by agencies such as World Bank, ADB, etc.
