Role & responsibilities

Position: Value Engineering / VAVE Engineer (Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical Products)

We are looking for an experienced VAVE / Cost Reduction Engineer with 3+ years of experience in teardown benchmarking, value engineering, and product cost optimization. The candidate will drive Design-to-Value (DtV) initiatives, identify cost-saving prospects, develop creative design concepts, and collaborate with global cross-functional teams to improve product performance, manufacturability, and cost competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute teardown, benchmarking, VAVE, and cost reduction projects.
Identify and implement Design-to-Value (DtV) opportunities.
Develop cost-effective product concepts and feasibility studies.
Perform material, process, and supplier optimization.
Conduct DFMEA, PFMEA, GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and validation activities.
Review BOMs,



manufacturing processes, and product cost structures.
Create engineering drawings and manage design changes in PLM systems (Windchill).
Work with engineering, supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing teams globally.
Support prototype validation and product qualification activities.
