Role: SEO Intern (Local & Website SEO)

Duration: 6 Months

Location: 3rd Lane, Rajarampuri, Kolhapur (In office)

Stipend: Month 1: Unpaid (Training & Evaluation) | Months 2–6: ₹2,000 to ₹5,000/month (Performance-based)

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our team. This 6-month internship offers practical, hands-on experience in executing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) campaigns, managing Google Business Profiles (GMB), and optimizing website performance for local and regional businesses.

Key Responsibilities
Google Business Profile (GMB) Management:
Set up, verify, and fully optimize Google Business Profiles for clients.
Implement local citation building, NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency checks, and local keyword integration.
Plan and publish weekly GMB posts, manage photo updates, and handle customer review workflows.
On-Page & Technical SEO:
Conduct keyword research for blog topics, service pages, and local search queries.
Optimize meta titles, descriptions, heading tags ($H1$, $H2$), URL structures, and internal linking.
Perform basic image optimization (compression, alt tags, naming conventions).
Off-Page & Link Building:
Identify and submit local directory listings, classifieds, and business citations.




Assist in outreach and backlink identification strategies.
Tracking & Reporting:
Monitor keyword rankings, traffic metrics, and local search visibility using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
Prepare monthly performance reports for clients.

Requirements & Skills
Basic understanding of how search engines work and familiarity with SEO concepts.
Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and basic keyword research tools.
Valuable written and verbal communication skills in English and Marathi/Hindi.
Eagerness to learn, adapt quickly, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Prior coursework, personal website projects, or certifications (HubSpot, Google, SEMrush) are a plus, but not mandatory.
