Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and type tests on CT (Current Transformer) and PT/VT (Potential Transformer).
Conduct tests such as:
Insulation Resistance (IR) test
Winding resistance test
Ratio and polarity test
Excitation/current test
Accuracy and burden test
High Voltage (HV) test
Partial Discharge (PD) test, where applicable
Understand and operate testing equipment and instruments.
Record test results and prepare test reports and inspection documents.
Identify testing failures/deviations and support troubleshooting.
Follow electrical safety procedures and applicable IEC/IS standards.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Design teams.
Support customer/FAT inspections when required.
Required Skills:
Positive knowledge of Electrical Measurements, Transformers, CT/PT construction and testing.
Basic knowledge of IEC/IS standards related to transformers.
Ability to read electrical drawings and test procedures.
Knowledge of testing instruments such as megger, HV test kit, winding resistance meter, CT/PT analyzer, multimeter, etc.
Valuable troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Basic MS Excel/report preparation skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
