Farm Manager — Coconut Plantation (25 Acres)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Farm Manager to efficiently oversee the day-to-day operations of our 25-acre coconut plantation. The ideal candidate will proactively manage cultivation, irrigation, labour, and administration while continuously working to keep the plantation healthy and productive.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure the plantation is adequately and consistently irrigated at all times.
Manage plant health closely and promptly address any issues affecting the coconut plants.
Supervise and coordinate labour effectively to ensure smooth daily operations.
Diagnose and swiftly resolve irrigation problems across the farm.
Reliably manage irrigation motors and monitor power usage.
Handle farm administration diligently and maintain accurate records.
Oversee fertilizer application appropriately and on schedule.
Carefully manage and track farm revenue.

Requirements




The ideal candidate must be a resourceful problem solver who is genuinely passionate about agriculture.
Transport: A two-wheeler (bike) and a valid bike licence are mandatory for this role. A car licence will be considered an added advantage.
Communication: A smartphone is required for regular communication.
Language Skills: Solid written communication in English is essential. Working knowledge of Tamil and Hindi will be an advantage.
Education: Any Indian degree.
Experience: Prior knowledge of farming will be an advantage.

Working Hours

Monday to the full working week, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. Daily physical presence at the farm is strictly required.

Reporting

The Farm Manager will report directly to the Farm Owner.

Compensation

₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month.
