JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Officer will be responsible for field sales, market development, customer acquisition and channel expansion within the assigned territory. The role requires robust market knowledge, regular field engagement and the ability to convert market opportunities into actual business.

Role & responsibilities
Achieve assigned monthly and annual Cattle Feed sales targets.
Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers and customers.
Generate new leads and convert prospects into sales.
Conduct regular market visits and ensure effective territory coverage.
Identify current customers, markets and business opportunities.
Generate regular orders and drive repeat business.
Explain Cattle Feed products, specifications, nutritional benefits and usage to customers.
Monitor product availability, market demand and competitor activities.
Maintain regular follow-up with distributors and customers for orders and business development.
Support collection follow-up and maintain healthy customer relationships.




Provide accurate market feedback regarding pricing, competition, demand and customer requirements.
Maintain daily sales and field-visit reports as required by the company.
Work closely with the ASM to execute territory plans and achieve sales objectives.

Preferred candidate profile
Graduate preferred.
Relevant experience in the Animal Feed/Cattle Feed Industry is mandatory.
Practical knowledge of Cattle Feed and Animal Nutrition.
Experience in Cattle Feed sales, field sales, distribution or market development.
Strong understanding of distributor, dealer and retailer networks.
Good communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
Strong lead-generation and sales-conversion ability.
Self-motivated, target-oriented and commercially focused.
Comfortable with extensive field work and territory travel.
Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
