Senior Purchase Manager

Location: Gujarwadi, Pune

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Purchase Manager with 3–4 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably from the Plumbing, Building Materials, Plumbing Systems, Drainage Systems, or CP & Sanitary industry.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.
Source plumbing and building material products as per business requirements.
Identify, evaluate and maintain relationships with reliable vendors/suppliers.
Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate price, quality, payment terms and delivery timelines.
Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs).
Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate with Stores/Warehouse to monitor stock levels and material requirements.
Handle shortages, damaged/incorrect materials and vendor-related issues.
Monitor purchase costs and identify prospects for cost optimization.




Maintain purchase records, vendor details, quotations and related documentation.
Coordinate with Accounts, Stores, Sales/Projects and Management for smooth procurement operations.
Monitor market rates and maintain updated supplier/pricing information.
