About the Role

The K Factor Productions is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for digital platforms, micro-films, reels, promotional videos, and branded content.

Key Responsibilities
Edit short-form and long-form videos, reels, micro-films, promotional and branded content.
Understand scripts, concepts and creative briefs and translate them into compelling visual stories.
Handle complete post-production workflow including cutting, transitions, pacing, sound design, music and basic color correction.
Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube content and other social-media videos.
Work closely with directors, content writers, creative teams and production teams.
Add motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, effects and other visual elements wherever required.
Maintain consistency in visual style, quality and brand guidelines.
Manage multiple projects and deliver videos within deadlines.
Organize and maintain project files, footage and editing assets.




Stay updated with current editing trends, social-media formats and visual storytelling techniques.

Required Skills
3–5 years of skilled video editing experience.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop and/or DaVinci Resolve will be an advantage.
Solid understanding of cuts, pacing, transitions, storytelling and visual composition.
Good knowledge of sound mixing, music selection and basic color grading.
Ability to create engaging content specifically for social media.
Robust attention to detail and creativity.
Ability to understand and execute creative briefs independently.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred
Experience in production houses, digital media, advertising, entertainment or content creation.
