Procure FMCG products such as groceries, packaged foods, beverages, personal care, and household products.
Identify and evaluate current suppliers/vendors.
Negotiate price, payment terms, discounts, schemes, credit periods, and delivery schedules.
Prepare purchase orders and ensure accurate product, quantity, price, and tax details.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with sales, warehouse, and inventory teams to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
Compare supplier quotations and conduct price analysis.
Maintain vendor records, purchase reports, invoices, and related documentation.
Check product quality, expiry dates, batch details, and packaging requirements.
Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment-related issues.
Monitor market prices, competitor pricing, recent products, and supplier offers.
Handle supplier complaints, shortages, damaged goods, and replacement issues.
Maintain robust relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and wholesalers.
Ensure procurement is within approved budgets and company policies.
