Run and regulate STP units, including bar screens, aeration tanks, secondary clarifiers, and filtration systems.
Manage and adjust chemical feeds (such as chlorine, coagulants, or anti-scalants) for disinfection and pH correction.
Inspect and service pumps, blowers, motors, and valves; perform routine backwashing of filters.
Collect water samples and test parameters like pH, COD, BOD, TDS, and MLSS levels.
Maintain daily shift logs, tracking flow meters, power consumption, and chemical stock.
Adhere to hazardous waste protocols, industrial safety guidelines, and use required PPE.
Education: ITI, Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering, or B.Sc. in Chemistry.
Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating wastewater or sewage systems,



preferably in an industrial setting.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of biological and physical wastewater treatment processes and basic troubleshooting.
