Designation: Fitter – Maintenance
Location: Bathalapalli, Hosur

Job Purpose

To carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment, ensuring minimum downtime and safe, efficient operation of production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery.
Attend breakdowns and restore equipment with minimum downtime.
Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance as per schedule.
Inspect machines for abnormal noise, vibration, leakage, and wear.
Dismantle, repair, replace, and assemble mechanical components.
Work on bearings, shafts, gears, chains, belts, pumps, valves, conveyors, and other mechanical systems.
Perform alignment, lubrication, and fitting activities.
Support installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown reports.
Coordinate with Production and Electrical teams during maintenance activities.




Follow proper lockout/tagout and safety procedures before maintenance work.
Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in good condition.
Support continuous improvement and reduction of machine downtime.

Qualification
ITI – Fitter / Mechanical trade.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.

Experience
0–2 years
Fresh ITI candidates with good technical knowledge may also be considered.

Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of mechanical fitting and maintenance.
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of bearings, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in shifts.
Valuable safety awareness and teamwork.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
