Service Engineer – Automation & Controls (Machine Tools & SPM)

Base Location: Khopoli

Experience: 4–6 Years

Reporting To: Service Manager / Controls Head

Travel: Pan-India & International (Extensive)

Role Overview

The Automation & Controls Service Engineer will handle PLC, HMI,

drives, commissioning, troubleshooting, and logic modifications for

machine tools and SPMs. The role involves extensive field service, current

installations, and breakdown support.

When in the office, the engineer will provide remote/online support,

maintain backups, assist internal teams, and support spare parts and

service operations.

Key Responsibilities
PLC, HMI, and drive configuration, programming, and debugging
Machine commissioning, startup, and I/O health checks
Troubleshooting automation, electrical, and control system issues




Integration with mechanical and electrical systems
Online/remote technical support to customers
Maintenance of PLC/HMI backups and service documentation

Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or

Instrumentation
4–6 years of automation service experience in machine tools or

SPMs
Robust hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and drives
Experience with Siemens and/or Beckhoff systems (preferred)
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus,

Ethernet/IP)
Willingness to travel extensively

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
