Key Responsibilities
GPS Monitoring & Tracking
Monitor and track the movement of approximately 200 vehicles per day through the GPS tracking system.
Track vehicle locations, route deviations, stoppages, delays, speeding, and unauthorized movements in real time.
Ensure all vehicles operate as per approved routes, schedules, and trip plans.
Generate real-time alerts and escalate operational issues to the concerned authorities for immediate action.
Fleet Coordination
Coordinate with drivers, transporters, fleet supervisors, and field personnel regarding vehicle movements and operational issues.
Provide real-time location updates and trip status to management, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Follow up on delayed vehicles and ensure timely resolution of transportation and routing issues.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily GPS tracking reports, vehicle movement summaries, and exception reports.
Maintain records of trip details, travel history, route compliance, and operational incidents.
Generate MIS reports on fleet performance, vehicle utilization, and tracking efficiency.
Operational Support
Monitor vehicle turnaround time (TAT), idle time, transit delays,



and operational efficiency.
Support the Logistics and Operations teams in dispatch planning and fleet management.
Assist in route optimization to improve fleet productivity and reduce transit time.
Incident Management
Identify route deviations, excessive idle time, unauthorized stoppages, overspeeding, and emergency situations.
Immediately report operational discrepancies and tracking exceptions to the concerned authority.
Maintain records of incidents, corrective actions, and resolution status.
Compliance & Data Accuracy
Ensure GPS tracking data is accurate, complete, and updated in the monitoring system.
Coordinate with GPS service providers to resolve tracking device and system-related issues.
Maintain confidentiality and security of fleet movement, operational, and customer-related data.
Ensure all GPS monitoring activities comply with company SOPs and operational guidelines.
