We are looking for a confident, articulate, and dynamic News Anchor to join our newly launched news channel. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of current affairs, a professional on-camera presence, and the ability to present news accurately and engagingly.
Anchor and present daily news bulletins, special programs, and live broadcasts.
Research and understand news stories before presenting them on air.
Deliver news with clarity, confidence, accuracy, and appropriate tone.
Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and public representatives.
Participate in live discussions, debates, and special coverage.
Coordinate closely with the editorial, reporting, production, and camera teams.
Review scripts and verify important facts before going on air.
Handle breaking-news situations professionally and responsibly.
Maintain a professional appearance and strong on-camera presence.
Follow the channel's editorial standards, policies, and ethical guidelines.
Participate in promotional videos, digital content and social media segments when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications




Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
Strong Hindi ,Punjabi and English language proficiency.
Transparent pronunciation, voice modulation, and good diction.
Strong general knowledge and awareness of current affairs.
Confident and engaging personality in front of the camera.
Ability to think and respond quickly during live broadcasts.
Positive interviewing and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet newsroom deadlines.
Professional attitude and willingness to work versatile shifts.

Experience

Candidates with prior experience in news anchoring, journalism, television, digital media, radio, or broadcasting will be preferred.

Freshers with excellent communication skills, confidence, and a robust interest in journalism/news media are also welcome to apply.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
