Sales Team Leader – UG/PG Courses

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and target-oriented Sales Team Leader (UG/PG Courses) to lead a team responsible for student admissions and course enrollments. The ideal candidate should have strong team-management, counselling, sales, and conversion skills, preferably in the education/EdTech sector.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and motivate the admissions/sales team to achieve monthly enrollment targets.

Monitor daily calls, follow-ups, lead management, and conversion performance.

Guide counsellors in handling student/parent queries and closing admissions.

Develop strategies to improve lead-to-admission conversion rates.

Track individual and team KPIs, including calls, follow-ups, conversions, revenue, and collections.

Conduct regular team huddles, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.

Ensure timely follow-up with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other channels.

Handle escalated student/parent queries and support the team in closing high-value leads.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management.

Coordinate with marketing,



academic, and operations teams to improve the admission process.

Ensure adherence to sales processes, CRM updates, and organizational policies.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in sales/admissions, preferably in education or EdTech.

At least 1–2 years of experience managing a sales/counselling team.

Solid communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

Target-driven with a strong focus on revenue and conversions.

Valuable knowledge of CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and sales reporting.

Ability to coach and motivate team members.

Graduate degree required; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
