Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and executing category strategies aligned with business objectives.
Analyze sales, revenue, margins, inventory, and category performance.
Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and product lifecycle.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for product availability.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and prospects.
Support recent product launches and category expansion initiatives.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
Track promotional performance and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare category-wise MIS reports and dashboards.
Support negotiations with vendors on pricing, margins, promotions, and commercial terms.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams.
Assist the Category Manager in achieving sales and profitability targets.
