Position: Title Examiner – FL State
Experience: 2+ years in US Mortgage
Location: WFH

Process: US Mortgage – Title Examination

Job Responsibilities
Perform title examination for Florida properties and review property records to determine ownership and title status.
Examine deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, releases, assignments, and other recorded documents.
Identify clouds on title, unreleased liens, judgments, ownership issues, and other title defects.
Conduct current owner, two-owner, and full title searches based on client requirements.
Review the chain of title and verify legal ownership of the property.
Prepare detailed title search/examination reports with accurate findings.
Ensure compliance with Florida state-specific title requirements and applicable client guidelines.
Research and validate property taxes, mortgages, liens, judgments, and other encumbrances.
Coordinate with title processors, examiners,



and other stakeholders to resolve title-related issues.
Maintain accuracy and meet quality, productivity, and turnaround-time targets.

Required Skills
Strong experience in US Title Search / Title Examination.
Positive knowledge of Florida (FL) property records and title standards.
Hands-on experience with Current Owner Search, Two Owner Search, and Full Search.
Robust understanding of Deeds, Liens, Judgments, Mortgages, Easements, Releases, and Assignments.
Ability to analyze chain of title and identify title defects.
Valuable knowledge of US Mortgage / Real Estate terminology.
Experience with title search platforms such as DataTrace, TitlePoint, Netronline, DT Docs, EaglePro, or similar tools.
Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
