Role Overview

Skilled Pega Developer with experience in banking or financial services to design, build, and support Pega-based applications. This role focuses on delivering scalable, compliant solutions that support key banking processes such as customer onboarding, lending, payments, and servicing.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Implementation
Design, develop, and configure Pega applications using Pega PRPC / Pega Infinity
Implement case management workflows, business rules, decision logic, and user interfaces
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Ensure adherence to Pega guardrails, coding standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines
Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices

Banking Domain Delivery
Develop solutions supporting core banking processes, including:
Customer onboarding (KYC/AML)
Lending and credit processing
Payments and transaction workflows
Customer servicing and case management




Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements (e.g. AML, data privacy, audit controls)
Support integration with core banking systems and third-party services (e.g. credit bureaus, payment gateways)

Integration & Technical Capabilities
Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and service-based architectures
Work with data models, decision tables, and rules to support business logic
Ensure robust error handling, logging, and performance optimisation

Business-as-Usual (BAU) / Production Support
Support production systems by troubleshooting defects and resolving incidents
Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes for recurring issues
Work with support teams to triage and prioritise incidents based on business impact
Assist in release deployments and production validation
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying system and process enhancements
