Assistant Restaurant Manager (AGM)

Experience: 6–7 years | Reports to: Restaurant General Manager

Role Overview
The AGM supports the RGM in running daily operations smoothly, with a stronger focus on floor execution, team supervision, and day-to-day process discipline.

Key Responsibilities
Support the RGM in managing daily restaurant operations and ensuring smooth service delivery
Supervise team performance on the floor; assist with training and onboarding of recent staff
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed consistently during shifts
Assist with inventory checks, indenting, and waste tracking under RGM guidance
Monitor billing accuracy and PoS operations during shifts; flag discrepancies to RGM
Support kitchen coordination during service to ensure timely, quality output
Handle cash and petty cash for assigned shifts with accountability




Ensure restaurant cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout service hours

Skills Required
Experience in team supervision, inventory reporting, indenting, waste management, billing, and POS systems
Bartending knowledge is a bonus
Positive communication skills; comfortable coordinating between kitchen and service teams
